Scholarship Application

In an effort to provide Full-time Behavioral Health Students, Community Health Workers, Promotores(as), Preventionists and Peer Support Workers and  Individuals in the behavioral health fields and related fields currently experiencing  financial hardship due to COVID-19 with an opportunity to further their behavioral  health education and professional development we have created the Bi-ennial Conference Scholarship. The number of scholarships awarded in 2021 will be one hundred (100). Let’s make the difference together!

Scholarship Benefits: 

Each scholarship recipient will receive a full complimentary registration and will  have full access to conference (CEU’s NOT included). 

Criteria: 

Applicants will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Experience in the areas of:
    • Full-time Behavioral Health Students
    • Community Health Workers, Promotores(as)
    • Preventionists and 
    • Peer Support Workers
    • Recipients of behavioral health services
      • Individuals in the behavioral health fields and related fields currently experiencing financial hardship due to COVID-19
  • Must be working or serving the Hispanic and Latino community and organizations at any capacity
